3. Source of Personal Data
We collect personal data from the following sources:
1. Directly from you when you create an account, enter your details, make payments or contact us.
2. Automatically when you use the Blue Parking application, including through technical and usage data

4. From regulatory bodies, law enforcement authorities or other organisations where required by law.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies within the Blue Parking application and associated web services to ensure the proper functioning, security and performance of the platform.
These technologies are used to:
• Maintain secure user sessions and authentication
• Enable core functionality of the application
• Analyse usage and performance of the application
• Improve user experience and service delivery
• Support fraud prevention and security monitoring

Lawful Bases for Processing (UK GDPR Article 6)
We process personal data to operate and administer the Blue Parking service. This includes creating and managing user accounts, facilitating parking payments, issuing digital permits, sending receipts, maintaining transaction records, responding to customer enquiries and ensuring the security and integrity of the platform.
In addition to the above, we process personal data for the following operational and business purposes:
To prevent fraud, misuse of the application and unauthorised transactions

Processing is carried out in accordance with Article 6 of the UK General Data Protection Regulation. In particular:
1. Processing necessary to provide parking and permit services is carried out on the basis that it is required for the performance of a contract.
2. Certain information is retained to comply with legal obligations, including tax and accounting requirements.
3. We process limited technical and security data on the basis of legitimate interests, including fraud prevention, system monitoring and service improvement.
4. Marketing communications are sent only where consent has been provided and such consent may be withdrawn at any time.
We do not rely on consent as a condition for providing core parking services.

Without this processing, we cannot provide the service.

may result in our inability to create an account, process parking payments, issue permits or
otherwise provide access to the Blue Parking application

Personal data processed through the Blue Parking application is hosted and managed within the United Kingdom. We do not routinely transfer personal data outside the UK. Where any transfer outside the UK becomes necessary, appropriate safeguards will be implemented in accordance with UK data protection law.

We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary to provide our services and to comply with

Operational logs and support correspondence are retained for defined periods appropriate to their
purpose and are securely deleted or anonymised when no longer required. When retention expires,
data is securely deleted or anonymised and retention is not open-ended.
9. Payment Processing
All card payments made through the Blue Parking application are processed securely by Stripe.
When you enter your payment details, this information is transmitted directly to Ecom6 via encrypted Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. Blue Parking does not access or store full payment card numbers or card security codes.
Stripe’s payment management systems are independently assessed and certified in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Level 1. Further information regarding
this security framework is available from the PCI Security Standards Council.
We retain only the transaction information necessary to confirm payment, maintain financial records
and meet audit requirements.
10. Security
We maintain appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission, secure UK-based hosting infrastructure, controlled access to systems and the use of PCI DSS certified payment processing services.
While no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, we take reasonable and proportionate
steps to safeguard personal data.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures including:
1. Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+)
2. Secure UK-based cloud infrastructure
3. Role-based access controls

The Blue Parking app is intended for individuals aged 18 and over.
